My favorite rhetoric class so far is definitely the class that we got to explore the Hackasaurus website. I came into this course with zero hacking experience and very little computer science knowledge, so I never thought I would ever be able to hack an actual website. The Hackasaurus website was extremely easy to use and the three step process made hacking completely doable, even for someone who is technologically illiterate. I also really enjoyed seeing what other people’s projects. Not only did I enjoy seeing the end product of everyone’s hack, but I thought it was really interesting to find out the reason behind everybody’s hacking choices. Since I have been riding the high of the OU win for the last couple of weeks, I thought it would be appropriate to hack OU’s Wikipedia page. Technically, anybody can edit Wikipedia, but changes that aren’t cited are usually deleted pretty fast, so I thought it would be cool to really mess up the page. I know we have time to really explore everyone’s hack, so here’s a screen shot of the page that I hacked. I would really love to really look through everyone else’s hack, so if you want to leave yours in the comments, that would be awesome!

Hey Tania, cool blog post! You should definitely check out James Pinkerton’s blog posts, they are breathtaking and compelling. When I read his beautiful prose I cry every time. Check his stuff out.
